The TrueMove Community Charter: Our Shared Commitment to Real Connections

Our Promise: A Foundation of Trust and Intent

Welcome to TrueMove. We are not just another social commerce app; we are a community built for "Frustrated Romantics" who are ready for something genuine. Our platform is founded on a single, powerful principle that guides every feature we build: Intent over Impressions.

This Charter is the constitution for our community. It is more than a list of rules; it is a shared commitment to creating a safe, respectful, and authentic environment where real connections can flourish. By creating a TrueMove account, you agree to uphold this vision and abide by these guidelines. This document, our Terms of Service, E-commerce & Gifting Policy, and Privacy Policy create a binding agreement between you and TrueMove.

Section 1: The Three Pillars of Our Community

Our guidelines are built on three foundational pillars that reflect our core tenets. Violating these principles will result in action being taken against your account, up to and including a permanent ban.

Pillar 1: Be Authentic (Intent over Impressions)

Genuine connections begin with genuine people. Trust is built from the very first interaction, and we require that you represent yourself honestly.

  • Be You, and Only You: Your profile is for you and must be a truthful representation of who you are.
    • Clear, Recent Photos: Your photos must clearly and accurately show your current appearance. At least one photo must be a clear shot of your face. We do not permit:
      • -Photos so heavily filtered or edited they no longer represent your current appearance.
      • -Cartoons, illustrations, or images of text in place of a profile picture.
      • -Photos where your face is not clearly visible (e.g., face coverings not worn for religious or medical reasons, extreme angles, or sunglasses in every photo).
      • -Photos of minors.
      • -Group photos where you are not clearly identifiable.
      • -Overtly suggestive photos or poses. Swimwear or shirtless photos are only appropriate in a natural context (e.g., at the beach or pool).
    • Accurate Biographical Information: Your real age and truthful, up-to-date information about yourself are required.
    • One Person, One Account: Each person is limited to a single, active account. Operating multiple profiles or creating an account on behalf of someone else is not permitted.
  • No Impersonation: You may not impersonate another person or entity, or otherwise misrepresent your affiliation or identity. This includes pretending to be a public figure, using another person's photos without permission, or misrepresenting your relationship status (e.g., claiming to be single when you are not).
  • Respect Intellectual Property: You must own the rights to all content you post on your profile, including photos and text. Do not post content that infringes on anyone else's copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property.
  • Age Requirement: All TrueMove members must be 18 years of age or older. We have a zero-tolerance policy for underage users and will remove any such accounts immediately.

Pillar 2: Be Respectful (Champion the Romantic)

We are a community for adults seeking something real. Every interaction must be guided by profound respect, kindness, and enthusiastic consent. We are here to reduce frustration, not add to it.

  • Consent is Mandatory and Enthusiastic: Consent must be freely given, ongoing, and unambiguous. If someone says no, expresses discomfort, or stops responding, you must respect their decision and cease contact. Any form of harassment, sexual assault, or the sharing of non-consensual imagery is a zero-tolerance violation.
  • Hate Has No Home Here: TrueMove is an inclusive community. We have zero tolerance for hate speech, racism, bigotry, misogyny, or any content that promotes or condones violence, discrimination, or hatred against individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, religion, disability, gender identity, sexual orientation, caste, national origin, or any other protected characteristic.
  • No Harassment or Bullying: Stalking, threatening, bullying, intimidation, doxxing, and any form of targeted harassment are strictly forbidden. This includes sending unwanted or repetitive messages and making unwelcome suggestive or lewd remarks.
  • Gift with Intent, Not Expectation: Sending a gift is an invitation, not a transaction or a demand.
    • Every member has the absolute right to accept, customize, or decline a gift without facing pressure, retaliation, or harassment. "No, thank you" is a complete answer.
    • Do not use the gifting feature to create a quid pro quo. Comments like, "If you accept this, you owe me a date" are a violation of our policies.

Pillar 3: Be Safe (Think Three Moves Ahead)

Your safety and the integrity of our platform are non-negotiable. We strictly prohibit any activity that puts our members or our community at risk.

  • No Illegal Activity: Do not use TrueMove to engage in or promote any illegal acts. This includes, but is not limited to, any form of commercial sexual solicitation, human trafficking, or the promotion, sale, or purchase of illegal or regulated substances and contraband.
  • Sanctioned Commerce Only: The only way to conduct commercial activity on TrueMove is through our integrated gifting and e-commerce store. For the safety of all members:
    • DO NOT solicit money, financial information, donations, or gift cards from other users for any reason.
    • DO NOT post personal payment details (e.g., Venmo, PayPal, Cash App) or links to external e-commerce sites.
    • DO NOT use TrueMove as a marketplace or to drive traffic to your business or paid events for financial gain. This prohibition extends to promoting multi-level marketing (MLM), pyramid schemes, and commercial contests or sweepstakes. Profile links to personal social media are for connection, not commerce, and the content on linked accounts must also comply with these guidelines.
  • Maintain Platform Integrity: Abusing our platform's features erodes the trust of the entire community. This includes:
    • Filing false or fraudulent "damaged item" claims through our e-commerce system.
    • Initiating fraudulent payment chargebacks without first contacting TrueMove support to resolve the issue.
    • Spamming or sending unsolicited, repetitive, and low-effort messages to other users.
  • Keep Content Appropriate and Safe:
    • No Nudity or Sexually Explicit Content: Do not upload, send, or request photos or content that is pornographic, overtly sexualized, or lewd in nature.
    • No Violent or Graphic Content: We prohibit content that is overly graphic, depicts or glorifies violence, cruelty to animals, or brandishes weapons.
    • No Sensitive or Harmful Content: Do not post content that promotes or glorifies self-harm, eating disorders, or dangerous misinformation that could cause real-world harm, such as content that undermines public health initiatives or interferes with civic processes.

Section 2: Zero-Tolerance Violations

To be unequivocally clear, the following offenses will result in an immediate and permanent ban, often without the possibility of appeal. We will cooperate with law enforcement agencies when legally required or when we believe there is a risk of imminent harm.

  • Any activity involving the exploitation or endangerment of minors.
  • Promoting, engaging in, or depicting sexual violence or non-consensual activity.
  • Hate speech, or promoting violent or extremist ideologies.
  • Credible threats of harm against an individual or group.
  • Fraud, including romance scams and financial solicitation.
  • Using the platform to facilitate or promote illegal acts or substances.
  • Creating a new account after being permanently banned (ban evasion).

Section 3: Reporting, Enforcement, and Our Commitment

See Something, Say Something

If you encounter a profile or message that violates this Charter, please report it immediately using the in-app reporting tools or by contacting our support team at support@truemove.app. Your confidential report is crucial to keeping the entire community safe.

Consequences for Violations

We take every report seriously. Depending on the severity of the violation, our actions may include:

  • A formal warning and removal of the offending content.
  • A temporary suspension of your account.
  • An immediate and permanent ban for all zero-tolerance violations and repeat offenses.

Appeals

If you believe your account was terminated in error, you may appeal the decision by contacting our support team at support@truemove.app within 30 days of the account action. Submitting an appeal does not guarantee reinstatement, and all decisions made by our review team are final.

Our Shared Commitment: The Gifting Quiz

Before you can send or receive your first gift, you must complete a short, mandatory quiz on our core gifting and safety policies. This ensures every member participating in our core feature understands their rights and responsibilities. Consider it our shared handshake agreement to champion the romantic, together.

Section 4: Safety Tips for Making a True Connection

Your safety is a shared responsibility. We empower you with tools and knowledge, but you are always your own best advocate.

While Online

  • 1Protect Your Personal Information: Be cautious about sharing sensitive personal details (like your home address, email, or phone number) in your profile or early conversations. TrueMove has built-in features, like our secure gifting process, to protect this information. Scammers often try to move conversations off-platform to get this data. Trust our system to protect you.
  • 2Never Share Financial Information: Never send money or share credit card details with someone you have only met online.
  • 3Stay on the Platform: Keep conversations on the TrueMove platform. Scammers often try to move you to unmonitored channels like text or other messaging apps.
  • 4
Be Wary of Red Flags & Consider a Video Call: Be cautious of anyone who:
    • Professes love or intense feelings immediately, before you've even had a real conversation.
    • Tells a dramatic story about a sudden emergency that requires money.
    • Claims to be local but is currently "stuck" overseas for work or military service.
    • Gives vague or inconsistent answers to specific questions.
    • Refuses to have a brief, casual video call. A video call is a great way to verify that the person matches their profile pictures before you invest more time.

When Meeting in Person

  • 1Take Your Time: Don't feel pressured to meet in person until you are completely comfortable.
  • 2Meet in Public, Stay in Public: For the first few dates, choose a populated, public place like a coffee shop or restaurant. Never meet at a private residence.
  • 3Inform a Friend: Tell a trusted friend or family member your plans: who you are meeting, where you are going, and when you expect to be back. Share your location from your phone for added safety.
  • 4Arrange Your Own Transport: Stay in control of your transportation to and from the date. This ensures you can leave whenever you want.
  • 5Mind Your Belongings: Be mindful of your drink, phone, and purse or wallet at all times.
  • 6Trust Your Gut: If something feels off or you feel uncomfortable for any reason, it's okay to end the date. You are never obligated to stay in a situation that doesn't feel right. Trust your instincts—you are your own best advocate.

Section 5: Legal Disclaimers

  • No Responsibility for User Conduct: You are solely responsible for your interactions with other TrueMove users. TrueMove is not responsible for the conduct of any user, on or off the platform.
  • User-to-User Disputes: TrueMove does not mediate personal disputes between users that do not involve a violation of these guidelines. We encourage you to use our reporting tools for any behavior that breaks our rules.
  • Data Privacy: Your privacy is paramount. The collection and use of your personal data are governed by our Privacy Policy. We will never sell your personal data to third parties.
  • Content Removal and Account Termination: TrueMove reserves the right, at our sole discretion, to remove any content or terminate any account that we deem to be in violation of these guidelines or our Terms of Service, with or without prior notice.
  • Policy Updates: This Charter is a living document, governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA. It may be updated periodically. We also reserve the right to remove accounts that have been inactive for an extended period (e.g., more than 24 months) to maintain the quality and security of the community. Your continued use of TrueMove after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised guidelines.
